He's highly professional not only in the way he gives a precisely costed estimate, but also in the way he keeps you informed of progress (including email photos) and the finish of his work to a high standard. At the same time he's down to earth and doesn't 'flannel'. He installed a second bathroom for me, knocked down and erected some internal walls, lined a loft roof space and fitted a Velux window and carried out some plastering work. All undertaken to my requirements with no supervision. I cannot fault his workmanship and would recommend him to anyone."

After it was established what I required, a detailed estimation was supplied and a meeting was set up to discuss in full what I expected and to decide whether Terry was the right person for the job. This was very important to me as I am based in London and would only be visiting the property intermittently. The meeting was very successful & I felt Terry understood what I wanted and was willing to make adjustments to the cost and requirements."

"Having purchased our typically run down French cottage in the Limousin we were searching for a builder to take on the renovation work on Artisan Anglais and came across J.P.S. On our next visit we arranged to meet up with John and instantly knew that he was the man for the job. John recommended that we checked out his previous work before going ahead, which we did and were further impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. Having agreed a programme and price, John duly commenced work and started to transform our dilapidated cottage into a wonderful home adding modern conveniences while retaining the French charm. John constantly communicated with us back in the UK throughout the project and completed on time and on budget. Each time we returned to France we were always amazed by how much the work had progressed and were also surprised how John managed to keep the place clean with so much work going on around him. "John Slack has completed 2 house renovation projects for us that have entailed building works and plumbing. Both projects involved fitting new kitchens and bathrooms and loft conversions. John saw both projects through from start to finnish his work has been of exceptional standard his finnishing is as good as you can get.

"John Todd has done an excellent job of restoring the colour of the oak beams and the stone fireplace in our house that we believe dates back to the mid 1800's. The beams had been blackened by smoke, the fireplace covered in tar and soot from the many years of log burning.
